* Dial M for Murder -- Ray Milland and Grace Kelly. A very good U.K. based mystery.
Trailer:

* Vertigo -- Hitchcock's incredible vision. Slow paced, but relentless. Stunning cinematography.
The beautifully filmed reveal:

* Shadow of a Doubt -- Certainly one of the unsung Hitchcock gems. Wonderful cast, including the always great Joseph Cotton. A break-out for Teresa Wright.
Trailer:

* Strangers on a Train -- This is the film which launched Hitch's incredible 1950's. Absolutely stunning! Includes one of Hitch's favorite actors. That's right, Leo G. Carroll. (Really!) It's Hitchcock chillicious!
Trailer:

The rest of them are second rate. But I don't mind Topaz or The Trouble with Harry.

The Birds has altogether too many birds. The Man Who Knew Too Much has altogether too much Doris Dog (thank you Monty Python), plus that wretched fucking song! View Hitch's original version instead.
