I got to see the Exorcist Big Screen a couple days ago.

It was great.

But instead of being just digitally remastered.

I'm pretty sure they CGI'd a couple of scenes.

The kids face just kind of waved and warped instantly as it was going to demon.

Not a slow fade as they'd of had in the 70's.

Effective. Seen the movie maybe 15 times. about came out of my seat. lol!

Was it the extended version with the added scenes (i.e. the "director's cut")? aint_no_life_nowhere Jun 2012 #1

I believe in that version it shows Regan walking down the staircase in her house on all fours, upside down.

I've probably seen Exorcist 35 times at least.

That crab walk down the steps thing was something just about every twelve year old could do at the time...they just sped it up.

Well minus the blood vomit.

Those CGI things with the face were new I'm pretty sure.
