TCM Schedule for Tuesday, July 24: 50 States in 50 Movies
There's a daytime tribute to director George Cukor, though it is not his birthday, which was on the 7th.
And we are going to make it through the 50 states! Tonight you'll be touring South Dakota (Badlands), North Dakota (The Purchase Price), Montana (A River Runs Through It), Wyoming (Spencer's Mountain), and Colorado (The Unsinkable Molly Brown).
And yes, Spencer's Mountain seems familiar because it's based on a novel by Earl Hamner Jr., creator of The Waltons.
