He's Got Rhythm: The Life and Career of Gene Kelly (Biography)
Detailed, impartial and fair IMO. Covers a lot of backstage history as well. There are other bios out there, but if you haven't read them (I haven't) I can't imagine any being more definitive than this. A good read I think Kelly fans will enjoy.
