Just watched "Glengerry Glen Ross" on TCM. Seen it before...

and decided to watch it again. Just have to say it's absolutely brilliant. The dialogue, my God (a lot of cursing mind you) but it has to be one-in-a-million writing. Who can even think up those lines?

And the cast is teriffic, especially Al Pacino, Jack Lemon, Ed Harris, Alec Baldwin, Alan Arkin.

if you get a chance, watch it again.

Great satire of 80s greed. Unfortunately David Mamet turned into a crazy right winger in the 2000s (or at least became more obvious about it)

Barely 5 minutes and he owns that movie. One of Jack Lennon’s best as well.

That defining part depicting the pressure of working in sales was written especially for him and especially for the film version.

The dialogue is nearly incomprehensible. I don't recall much of a plot, unless constant swearing is somehow a plot.

You're the only one on this board who doesn't recognize the movie as a great piece of film making.

Think about that.
