Taverner's 'Song for Athene' and 'Eternal Memory for Solo Cello'

On another thread, I mentioned a rescue adoption I providentially came upon. 'Athena'. Had to make sure if I adopted her, that it wasn't a selfish intent on my part having lost my sweet girl in March. I sent donations for her care and a box of new toys. The agency sent me a short video of her playing with her soft pizza slice. My heart flip-flopped. She was being fostered! I was so happy. Latest news, she's been adopted! Sent me a photo of her and her mommie. I am so grateful. Glory To God!

But on the reverse side, I'm grieving for my life as it is presently and for all in our world who have lost their physical lives or their 'knowing' (nous) lives.

Thanks much for listening.
