Now for some reason, around the time I found “Memphis Train”, I also ran into “Outa Space”, by Billy Preston — the two songs are married together in my mind now! I won’t post link to the song so as to not disrespect this post, but if you’re not familiar with it, a quick search will fix you up!

The guitar played it back in the day, so he knew the words.
If his brother came by, I'd let him play the organ parts on my keys. He never soloed though. I basically just played tambourine & did backing vocals.
