We got very lucky to open for Mr. Hopkins at Wise Fool's Pub. Pretty sure it was '76.
We had played an all ages show a few weeks before, & the originally planned opener had to cancel.
The manager really liked us, so he called us first to see if we wanted to do it.
Not sure why we were first on his list, or maybe we weren't.
This video is interesting in that he obvious is in standard tuning.
I thought he mostly played DADGAD.
He does have showmanship, doesn't he?
