I had no idea this was a cover:
Looked up the lyrics tonight to see if what I have been screaming for 32 years (omg. looked that up too. Old. I’m old now.) was even close to what was being said…and Huh??
1. I was not even close
2. It’s a Sly song?! Too cool.
3. Guess it’s more of a reworking than a straight cover, not only because of the style, but also lyric changes/additions and omissions.
4. Both versions are fantastic
