but there was no intent to have you believe it was Yes. Some people post their expression in a title. Some just post dry data of who, what, when, where like it's a library card. Some post almost nothing. I've never considered that someone would take an expression of an emotional release and find something else in it. That is a curious thing to me. Many people respond to wonderful music with a one word expression. Such as sublime, magic, giant, more etc. So if I were to put up videos by those musical artists am I supposed to add disclaimers or something for the people who were thinking it was just an expression of reaction to the video?

Perhaps you did not know the band Yes.

If you did, then think of your readers.

I actually thought I was clicking on a song of one my favorite ever bands.
A different post title seems appropriate.

Sublime is not well known is perhaps more an oversight on the part of some rather than the reality. Sublime has been around for 36 years and produced 3 studio albums, 33 EPs, a live album, five compilation albums and a box set. They have sold over 17 million albums worldwide and over 10 million in the US. They had two Number 1 singles.

Magic is also well known to a great many people and the reggae fusion band has been going since 2012 and has produced 3 albums, had a Number 1 single, performed at the American Music Awards as a feature act, were nominated as top group in successive years by major industry organizations like Billboard, Juno etc.

Giant is a well known rock band that has been around for 37 years and has produced 5 studio albums, an EP, a live album and a compilation album. Their guitarist Dann Huff is highly respected in rock, country and as a producer and the band has had 4 top 20 singles in their career even during a time when rock was fading compared to the shift to rap etc. Dan has worked with Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson, Whitesnake, Kenny Rogers, Barbara Streisand, Faith Hill, Megadeth, Roger Hodgson etc. He played guitar for Whitney Houston on her debut album. He was the guitarist on the monster hit by Whitesnake titled "Here I go Again".

I guess the point is that what is not "well known" to one person might not be the case in reality.

6. So. You must have known Yes, the band, is the first thing your readers would think of on seeing the title "Yes". . . . n

After watching/listening/remembering that tune and band my reaction was .....................Yes. Some might have said golly, wow or something else. My reaction was an expression of extreme satisfaction. I don't operate in such a fashion as to try to mislead with the things I post. It wouldn't dawn on me to think someone did if they posted an expressive word and I was thinking the video might be something other than what it was. Because as we've seen if people do that then well known musical artists identified by one word would be OK with some for using the one word and unexpected by some who thought they knew something based on the word but were incorrect. Then we have the category of those who wouldn't fall into either category and don't assume anything but rather just click along and enjoy or not as the case may be.

That latter category of people are sublime, a thing of magic and a giant pleasure. I think most people agree.
