I had always thought the Go-Gos covered this, but it's actually the other way around. Sort of.
It was cowritten by Weidlin & Hall so neither band is actually covering the song. One person from each ban cowrote ut!
According to this, Go-Gos recorded & released it first.
I always thought it was a good, fun pop tine. Now, I know more about it.
