My faves on that particular album are Tom Ames Prayer, Goodbye, and Ben McCullough.

Check out my new Jason Isbell thread ... if you like Steve, you'll definitely dig Isbell.

He is currently in the same zone of awesomeness Steve was in when he first got sober and put out Train A Comin thru Transcendental Blues albums. Or, John Hiatt, when he put out 'Bring the Family' and 'Slow Turning'. You get the idea

Also, have you heard Steve's son Justin Townes Earle? I have a small man-crush on him, he is fully amazing as well.
