Wolves join in during recording at sanctuary

The wolf sanctuary that we were visiting works so hard to take these wolves in and provide them a safe haven. They have higher than normal medical expenses right now and could really use the support!! http://www.wolfsanctuary.net/

1. I have five dogs that used to live in the city.

I moved to the Texas hill country for 6 years where I could hear wolves/ coyotes (as well as bobcats and mountain lions) baying at night when I was outside. After a while my dogs did it too. Especially when I was in another part of the house for too long and they wanted me to come back. I hear they also do it when I leave home. It lasts about a minute and I haven’t figured out how to quiet them once it starts.

We have moved back to Houston (unfortunately) and so we don’t hear wild animals anymore, but my dogs continue their baying as a pack.
