Here's a version we did at a Battle Of The Bands. I think our Santana (who covered this song) ending cinched a very lucrative first prize.

The contest was picks & sticks. We can bring our own guitar picks & drumsticks. Had to use what they provided. Couldn't even bring pedals.
Also, we had to pick 3 songs off their list, 3 weeks before the contest. No other songs allowed.
Each band had 15 minutes from intro, to play 3 tunes, get off the stage & let the next band get ready.
If a band caused the next band to go on late, they would be DQd

Pretty sure there were 15 bands that day, so 3 hours & 45 minutes of music.
