Next year will be the 50th anniversary memorial and it will be interesting to see if there has been any resolution since the last accounting.

Totally tragic. Flash floods in the West in mountain canyons-- are like that--little notice (and no this is not the same as the situation in Texas right now, which was accompanied by major predicted flooding, however unreliable the NWS forecasts)
