I've listened to a lot of SRV, he's my fave guitarist of all times, closely followed by Duane Allman - IMO. I believe the pix is altered, but so what - the music is rea and freaking awesome!

That's the original album art.
That's a hand painting by a guy named Brad Holland.
I remember at the time some fallout over the fact that it didn't look just like him, but Holland was not a portrait artist. So, there's some interpretative element to it.
But, that is NOT an AI generated picture.
