“Rick Davies, one of the two co-founders, frontmen and chief songwriters of the British band Supertramp, which evolved from a progressive-rock group into an unexpected chart-topping ensemble with the album “Breakfast in America,” has died after a long battle with cancer, the band confirmed in a statement. He was 81“

Goodbye, Stranger … it’s been nice, hope you find your paradise.

There’s a reason so few bands will cover their music, and it’s not cause they didn’t write good songs - they are deceptively difficult to play, especially with the balance of Pop, Prog Rock and Jazz that they brought to them. They could pull it off live as well because they were all immensely talented musicians.

All the wrong people keep dying, gawddammit.

Hide In Your Shell

A masterpiece, imo.

That refrain, that sax...

"Don't let the tears linger on inside..."

Crime of the Century is a great album from beginning to end. Saw them in San Diego a long time ago, incredible show.
