I know the radio hits, but this one is very jazzy.

I searched on Wikipedia and saw that the album was #1 in 1973 (released late 1972).

But the crew touring now under the moniker War aren't the origional guys. Their mananger, producer, member held the publishing and band name rights, the only one in the current lineup from the origional group is a founder, Lonnie Jordan on keyboards. There was a legal battle but contracts are contracts and the other original members toured as The Lowriders. That said they were super tight when I saw them in 1996 & 1999 or so.
