I started wearing a 'Jackson Browne' button in 1981,
and lied to one of my co-workers that Jackson Browne
was running for Governor of California!
He initially believed me and was open to that idea,
before I confessed my lie!
Unfortunately my Browne for guv boom-let never took off, being initiated from Michigan,
and the next Governor of California was Republican---
back when they were still strong in that state...
but I still think it was a great idea!
