"Trickle Trickle" by The Manhattan Transfer. (Live a capella Jazzy doo wop)

I recall hearing of The Manhattan Transfer back in the day, but they never got radio airplay and I wasn't going to spend $4 to find out what they did. Thanx to streaming, I now have had the blinders removed from my ears and have achieved a new level of campy awareness.

The MT have seen many iterations of the group, each one with its own style. This is the third and most commercially successful.
For better or worse.

They played outdoors at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans and arrived to the stage on an elephant/ elephants.
Their voices really are that good, and Alan Paul was so handsome.

Kudos for their sense of showmanship. I would never think of such a stunt.
Or fall off and break a leg, as they say in show biz..

Great outdoor venue right on the bay. Some people would sit in their kayaks on the water and get to listen to the concert from free. I would think it was cold and rather uncomfortable. I wasn't one of those.
