(62,401 posts)songs?
I know these VTubers have lots of addicted fans and make tons of money off overpriced merch, and do "concerts" where they're on the screen and a few real musicians on stage play along.
And this particular cartoon character aka VTuber has been around since 2020 - my understanding is that this cartoon trend really took off during Covid.
But since the real musical talents behind KPop Demon Hunters were revealed, it would be nice to know if humans sang and wrote that song. Even though this started before genAI, it might be genAI now. Is there any info about who actually wrote and sang that song?

(62,401 posts)know the same about any cartoon characters posted here.
So who are they? All I've been able to learn for certain is that there's a corporation peddling various cartoon characters, with Mori Calliope being one. As I pointed out, KPop Demon Hunters gave the real artists the credit they deserved.
You owe me an apology for trying to suggest there's anything bigoted about wondering who the real artists behind the cartoon are.
I saw some posts online suggesting there's some AI use with this cartoon character and the music, but I also saw denials and no strong proof that AI was being used now (and this cartoon character was created before genAI was available).
But the best way to know for sure is to know who the real artists are.
I believe real artists always deserve credit, and shouldn't be merely nameless marketing tools for a corporation selling cartoons.

(62,401 posts)songwriter(s) behind this cartoon character are?
Because right now I don't know if any AI is involved, or if there are multiple singers pretending to be this cartoon character.
And while they are probably Japanese artists, there's no way to know that, either.

(62,401 posts)with no identifiable musical artists and songwriters behind them. This is a travesty of music, and an insult to real artists.

(62,401 posts)who are supposedly singers, with the corporation behind them never crediting real musicians and possibly using AI.
