The Doors - Unknown Soldier (Single Mix)

Time to post some more anti-war music. This one is a different mix than the album version. It doesn't have the church bells ringing at the end.

Not to mention that the same right-wing crowd who cries about cancel culture were the ones 58 year ago (what?!?! Its been that long?) banning this song from most radio stations. Feel free to respond if you knew of any radio stations at the time playing this song. I assume it was the FM stations at the time who were playing Unknown Soldier.

"While he was part of the 1960s generation that did not believe in war, he did not align himself with the political hippie movement's typical anti-war, pro-violence activism".

I've been a huge Doors fan since 1979 (I even left a cork from a bottle of wine with a note I wrote to him on his grave in Paris, he died on my 9th birthday) and have read a lot about him over the years.

I have 2 musician bumper stickers on my car...Pink Floyd and The Doors. I'm a huge fan!

His family lived in San Diego, CA. I think his sister still does.
