I don't think it gets enough appreciation. From the fun rockabilly sound, the lyrics are hilarious and yet the main character is quite sad and pathetic at the same time. She really puts you there, in that smoky bar. And having lived on the prairies for far too long, yeah, nothing gets in the way between a lot of those guys and watching their hockey games.
