It was a London Palladium cancer benefit and Drury was skin and bones by then. he soon died of colorectal cancer.
First time I ever saw a singer actually pack his shit and leave.

He toured the Eastern U.S. with an early Stiff tour, but never made it out here (Los Angeles) AFAIK.
