Couple of very groovy 70's-sounding tracks from Sam Beam's "Kiss Each Other Clean" CD ...
And for the I&W traditionalists ... who hate hearing Sam with anything more than his acoustic ... this is also brilliant ... so I see their argument

(13,191 posts)Never listened to these guys before your post, but it's on my play list now. I almost never spend money on brand new (to me) artists preferring to chase 'em around YouTube and other (seedier) P2P music sources for a while...
But I dropped money for this song halfway through the 1st listening:

Here's a couple more great songs of theirs (mostly 'they' are one dude, but ...) from The Shepherds Dog CD (which has tons more instruments than the really early discs, but they're all organic stuff, he didn't start putting in electronics til his next disc, Kiss Each Other Clean, from which the songs in OP are from)

(33,643 posts)This whole album (this is the title track) is phenomenal. Recorded live in studio, every song is good to great (even if it's mostly downbeat and some will break your damn heart), the playing is fantastic, his voice is amazing ... overall, it's just great Americana.
All his albums are good, but this one is the classic so far.
