The reason involves my grandpa's passing, and me being on oxy, and hence my NOT playing and singing it at his service like I'd always wanted to, a personal plan of mine going back for a decade + before ...

He was 'this old scarecrow' ... super tall and thin, and salt of the earth, died at 94 ... and I was going to sing the 'cultivate the freshest flower this garden ever grew' to my grandma ... who was 92 at the time.

But it was not to be ... cause I was f***ing strung out.

And now I always sing along ... and almost never avoid tears.

True story ...
