That could not possibly be more different.
1st up Hill Country Devil.
And this is a real treat, if you have never heard Adam Carroll before it is my honor to introduce him to you. His fingers are full of lightning and he tells a story in a way that never seems strained or false.

(2,050 posts)I've got a lot of concerts on VHS tapes and you can still find them out there really cheap
I use a JVC HR-D47OU that was a high end player back then, it even has rack handles which is really rare
I have 3 of them for parts units too, I always wanted to try an S-VHS for music but can't find any tapes nowadays
My fave is the Allman Brothers band live (At The Glen) great concert

(13,200 posts)And other than an alarmingly extensive Ren & Stimpy catalog I don't have a collection to speak of.
But I am a Patreon Supporter of Gems on VHS - $5.55 a month which comes out to $66.6 annually - and I want to encourage everybody to find and support independent music.
I share a bunch of GOVHS videos here but there are other folks working in other genres if Folk/Americana doesn't do it for ya.
If you can upload/share that Allmans' show, that would be cool as hell. I'm a big fan

(2,050 posts)It was just another analog format and really works well
I'll dig out the Allman tape and post its info here, it's either "At the Glen" or "At the Wood" something like that
It's got a live version of "Dreams" that burns down the house
My problem is I don't even know how to put up a pic here, I just didn't get into any digital whatsoever, I don't have song one on my phone
But I'm getting a new phone and my kids told me they'll bring me up to date soon
