Snake Mountain Blues

The original was by Townes Van Zant (of course)



Recently I've been internet stalking Colter Wall and today I found a cover of Snake Mountain - And he really did it justice.

Had I not already known the song, I would have sworn that he he had written it.


And just because not enough people know the music Townes wrote before several aged oak barrels of despair colored his voice - here is one of his prettiest sad ballads

I recently heard that she and Billy Strings were roommates for a while. Can you imagine the flatpicking in that house?
