1. I loved Norton

Gave me the best advice ever about playing the blues harp. Told me to stop playing the blues. To play jazz, country, everything. If you don't hear a harp in it, that's what you should be playing He said.
The next morning I got up, clicked on the radio and "nights in white satin" came on. No harp part in that song I thought so I started playing along. And I nailed it.

I got so much better, and freer in my playing thanks to Norton.
I was hanging with John popper one night in New Orleans and we got to talking about how much he admired Norton too.....
