I was stationed about 1.5 hours south.

Drove up from the base one afternoon and bought tickets for several folks from my shop. (Got a ticket from the Polizei on the way and had to pay on the spot, which almost cut into the cash I had brought for the tickets).

Had a great time, they put on one hell of a concert. Super elaborate costume changes. That evening was a highlight of my 3 years in Germany.

I still play some of their music from time to time - there is a lot of their stuff on YouTube.
