3. Okay, this got me thinking.

In the late 70’s I saw Cheap Trick. The opener was Little River Band.

At the time I wasn’t remotely interested in either band and after all these years I was having a hard time figuring out how I ended up at that show.

So I did a little research.

There was a third band on the bill sandwiched between CT and LRB.

Graham Parker and the Rumour.

The reason I’d forgotten was that Parker’s show didn’t translate very well to that size venue. (Market Square Arena)
