(5,934 posts)I bought that LP when it was first released, when I was in the ninth grade. Always loved this song, especially the sax solo on the Creedence version.
On edit: Upon checking Wikipedia, I'm surprised to learn that it was John Fogerty who played the sax solo. Quite a talented guy.

I started with it on the speakers but then mom came in cause I had it blaring Looking out My Back Door a bit too loud, and she made me put on the headphones.
It was I think 1972.
