Harry Belafonte, Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, Henry Mancini, Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass, and other greats; my mother spun their platters ( ) on the big stereo cabinet while she went about her endless hours of housewifely duties.
Although I eventually left them in the dust for the Beatles, I still love these artists to this day.
