The whistler. I’m looking for folk and Celtic rock that leans heavy. Any suggestions?

Thanks, all! Building a Playlist now.

Heavy English folk rock. Worked a bit w Tull in the mid 70s. Parcel of Rogues, Commoners Crown, All Around My Hat and Now We Are Six are all excellent. The earlier albums lean more folk but are also good.

Fairport Convention is another option. Liege and Lief is THE English folk rock album, and they gave the world Richard Thompson and Sandy Denny. Also tightly associated with Tull - Faiports bassist and drummer have both played in Tull.
