1. Saw them about that time in a small venue that held about 200.

Great, up close concert for those who like acoustic music.

And I will never get over how perfect they were together

3. Yep. Amazing work. I remember Watson saying, "You think an acoustic guitar can't sound

like and electric,” and then playing close to the bridge for several songs. I play enough acoustic guitar badly, to recognize brilliance.

I wasn’t there in ‘79 but I did see them there in the early 80’s.

5. It's weird - I liked bluegrass coming up

My family played and sang when I was a kid, but after I graduated HS, kicked around and joined the Air Force, I just never really listened to it. I ignored it for more than a decade

When my kids were born in the 90s I started listening again and here it is 30 years later and I am obsessed.

asa young adult, I never even spoke about seeing Doc Watson or the Dillards or any of the artists that I saw around SW PA and the Pan Handle region of WV back when I was a kid.

6. Got into it in my early 20s.

BIL introduced me to David Grisman and the Seldom Scene. Then I moved to Colorado and friends turned me on to New Grass Revival and John Hartford.

I haven’t been the same since.
