1. Is this genius or what

I’ve always loved this group and their musical arrangements with horns, flutes, etc., such a different sound than the usual at the time, and when David Clayton-Thomas joined as lead vocalist, they only got better.

2. BST was doing something no one else was doing.

I kind of missed Al Kooper though...thought he was that crazy spark. But they still kept doing great music in the same style, so yes, I agree, Genius. No doubt that David Clayton-Thomas became the voice of BST. I just love them.
