2. Loves me, Cowboy Junkies. Last time, I saw 'em live, Princeton, N.J. second row. Now we get in, sit

down. Seats are second row, left set of seats. Only three seats in the row. Joyce and I are in two of those. Third seat is empty.

Show starts.

Three songs later, Third seat occupant arrives an sits down.

Five minutes later, her cell phone goes off. She picks it up and ends the call.

45 seconds later, it goes off again. She picks it up and turns it off.

THEN, SHE SITS ON IT.

The fuking thing goes off AGAIN, but partially muffled.


This, fueled by a couple of bone hits before the show, is the funniest thing I could imagine.

Usher comes down to tell her to turn the damn thing completely off.


AFTER THE SHOW,

Band is signing album covers. A girl, probably about 10, is being pushed to the table and she is shy about approaching Margot. Margot was kind. She got up from the table to walk around and talk with the girl. That was the best part of the show.
