(1,730 posts)I saw him in Seattle in 1975. He was kind of new on the scene, and they were calling him "The Future of Rock 'n' Roll." I didn't want to like him out of loyalty to the Stones, but that attitude flew out the window within minutes. Amazing.

(41,145 posts)In '83 we saw Sting with the Police; I would trade it for Bruce looking back. He's a terrific performer and genuine Americana. The city of Buenos Aires is lively, I enjoyed visiting there way back in the 70s.

(1,730 posts)Argentina was an exotic destination! In the 70s, my travels were mostly confined to Europe, the British Isles, and Hawaii. We were lucky to travel back then. Life seemed so much less complicated.

(41,145 posts)lots of travel and relatively inexpensive too. Denver, then Europe, SA, lived in England, saw Caribbean islands, Seattle first time 79, Kauai 86... Matters did seem easier, less pressured then. In some ways, the 21st c. is becoming a real bear.
