(637 posts)Couldn't find a Bauhaus version. But like you said almost the same thing. Bauhaus did do an awesome Bowie Ziggy Stardust cover, as I am sure you know.
Edited to say the MGMT singer does sound like Peter Murphy.

(33,643 posts)Or was it added later in an expanded re-issue? For some reason I don't remember that being on there back in the day.

(637 posts)Never realized that. I bought the cassette in 86/87 (which apparently didn't have it) but the 2 times I bought it on disc it was there. Guess I thought it always was.

(33,643 posts)My thinking on it being BH rather than L&R was that I had all L&R's records back in the day (I probably still know most of the words of most songs on Earth Sun Moon) & didn't recall it being on any of 'em, but I had a vague association of one of the two having covered that song.
How's your 'Peter Murphy song' comin' BTW?
Take Care Abu...

(637 posts)My stuff: gonna start recording better versions this weekend hopefully. It will still be with free audacity software but I now have a real microphone and a digital interface. So we shall see.
Thanks for asking. Are you writing or recording?
