Likely not a popular opinion, but I've always considered 'The Wall' and much of their later work to be overwrought and too operatic by half.

I think I'd put The Wall at #3 for them. Wish You Were Here would be close, but I'd give it the edge, and put it at #2, with Animals at #1.
