It was December 1945 and ever so slowly the boys were coming home from all over the world. And everyone was singing this song!

No kidding. Like other stars of his era he’d visit places like Juarez and Tijuana. He realized that tequila in Mexico was way different from what was exported to the states at the time. So he arranged to import Herradura tequila. He also was an early investor in Ampex, the company that perfected tape recorders. A genius at a lot of things
