Sad to hear the news this morning. Nanci Griffith passed away last night at the age of 68

I'm sure I would've posted a thread about her sooner or later, but just never quite got to it.

We lost a great song writer, a story teller with an angels voice.

Rest Peacefully Ms. Griffith

I wish I believed in a reality that would allow these duets to happen again.

But she was so much more than harmony on another artist's songs

So many songs, I just kept adding to the OP & I knew had to cut it off.

There are probably 7 or 8 more that I would have included had they popped up on the google search in a different order.

It was literally "oh, hadn't heard that in a while" and "Man. That's a great song too" plus "oh shit I forgot about that one"
