And just sit back and rock it. It's so freaking good ... I've watched it like 4 times start to finish, and certain songs more than that. Admittedly, it does take them a few songs to really get into a groove (Palmetto Rose seems like a soundcheck really) but (at the latest) by the time Dress Blues hits at song 5 ... it's all golden from then on.

When I have an hour and a half before bedtime. I'll revisit. The opener was fucking glorious so I won't piece meal watch it.

I'll watch early tomorrow night.

I love that they used Zip City, I freaking love that song ...

Cooley's lyrics are all great but I especially love this one:

He has an inspiring life story too. Conquered his demons with the help and love of a good woman. Amanda accompanies him on some of his songs on the violin/fiddle. I love that kind of redemption stories. Here's a clip of one of my favorite JI songs, Songs that she Sang in the Shower. I'm a R&B and Jazz lover mostly but I love me some Jason Isbell too.
