(31,909 posts)Greg Lakes autobiography Lucky Man where he tells some interesting stories about being in a rock n roll band in the late 60s.
The band members all absolutely loved the art for the album cover which they felt was a spot on depiction of 20th Century Schizoid Man.
Good stuff.

(3,037 posts)Read a bunch of the Amazon book reviews on it. The only valid criticisms seem to be no juicy personal gossip, it is focused on music making and it is double spaced.
Sound just perfect to me!

(31,909 posts)I personally couldnt care less about juicy gossip. I enjoy hearing and reading about how rock musicians get started in music, get their ideas and what their influences are. But, this book is not boring, its very readable.
Ever watch the Classic Rock Albums series on PBS? Each episode discloses how a certain album was made, with vintage and recent interviews and concert footage, etc. I really enjoyed the one on Dark Side of the Moon. Rumors ... not so much, because it was all about the bands bickering.
