William Basinski: The Disintegration Loops
Since this is the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and therefore of The Disintegration Loops, here are the loops. If you haven't heard them, they are some interesting ambient loops created by William Basinski, originally for no real reason. Except that the events of 9/11 gave a meaning that Basinski hadn't predicted.
A brief description of how the album came about:
There is supposed to be a documentary about the album, but I haven't determined how it can be viewed. It doesn't appear to have been released yet.
