Does anyone remember his show "Meeting of Minds"? Every week he'd do a round table discussion among actors playing historic giants like daVinci, Einstein, Edison, Queen Elizabeth I. He also wrote many books and was the first to talk about "the dumbing down of America.

Just imagine how many crewmembers were required to move the cables connecting the video cameras to the control room out of the way.

There were no wireless mics in those days the sound is too perfect.
Then the camera followed them through the bit as they lip-synced along to a recording. The recording was dubbed in post.
A mean feat in one take. kudos.
