Years ago, a friend and myself kept pumping money into an internet connected jukebox at a bar which enabled us to have the song we chose leap over everyone else's choices. We had that song play about 5 times in a row. The other patrons were getting so pissed, yelling out "Who the fuck keeps playing this?!" People were leaving the bar. Finally the bartender got pissed and unplugged the jukebox. All the while, my friend and I were at a corner table laughing so hard we were crying. It was the best night.

(9,258 posts)I play in a community concert band and we have to do the patriotic crap at many events. If were not playing it some other act is singing it. Especially during the TFG years Ive never felt less patriotic.

"Elvira" might be one

(42,862 posts)The actress, who was born Cassandra Peterson, shared her love story in her new autobiography, "Yours Cruelly, Elvira."
Peterson writes that she was a new mom decades ago trying to get back into pre-baby shape at Gold's Gym in Hollywood when "I couldn't help noticing one particular trainer, tan, tattooed, and muscular, stalking across the gym floor, knit cap pulled so low over his long brown hair that it nearly covered his eyes."
"Dark and brooding, he gave off such intense energy that when he crossed the enormous gym floor, the waters parted and people stopped in their tracks to stare," she wrote. "A typical sexy bad boy, he was unaware he was so charismatic that he garnered his own unofficial fan club."
It turned out that the "sexy bad boy" was actually Teresa "T" Wierson.

But it's absolutely freaking garbage in my book.
Not even in a 'so bad it's great' kind of way. It's just bad.

(9,258 posts)Happy Birthday to her, shes exactly 1 day younger than me. For some God-forsaken reason they played her song on an endless loop on the radio for a while on the late 70s.
