1. THAT WAS AWESOME.

I grew up with my dad playing 40's music all the time, especially Glenn Miller, in the living room on his big hifi player. This was a beautiful piece of furniture. It had a turntable, radio receiver, and a section about 3 feet long to store LPs. I was playing the Beatles in my room on a mono turntable, and my brother was playing The Stones in his room. My other brother and mother couldn't care less about music.

Is it possible to get this mix on audio only?

in the music section separately - and many here know a lot about tech. You could also play the video & tape it on a cassette but I don't know how good the sound quality would be.

Glad you had family music lovers & such a great system, same case in my family & it had a lasting influence on me.
