Jerry Garcia Band [1080p Remaster Pro Shot] September 1, 1990 - Shoreline California FULL W/Bonus

&t=1745s

This is the full video with bonus interviews with surviving band members and Robert Hunter at the end

This video was flagged as being "720p" but was obviously not a true 720p because there were interlacing artifacts which were not from a "720i" recording.
I did a bunch of work on it in vegas pro, and with other video editing software to get rid of the interlacing, which involved initially DOWNSCALING the video to native resolution to get to the stated "30p" then went through a couple upscaling phases to get to 1080P resolution using some ai interpolation.

If this had been a real "720p" video, I would have aimed for 4k, but it wasn't worth it given how much repair work had to be done to get to this level.

I used the original production soundboard on this.
Yes, I've already done the DVD. I am not sure what the source of this one was, but it was different than the DVD source. If anyone knows -- please let me know. There was obviously some kind of online or offline release of this show with the interviews outside of the release DVD.

I have a friend who was most likely there... I never got to enjoy the Dead and the parking lot parties ( my parents really discouraged concerts)

So for me I love the music but watching them now is like a documentary of sorts...

Even now, while I love live music, I prefer smaller venues

Those were some great years in my life.

I enjoyed the Grateful Dead and The Jerry Garcia Band immensely while they were around.

I couldn't get enough of them and I have quite the collection of music as proof.

I remember them from their very early days in the late 1960s and were they great!

I think this newly released video is just a small taste of how great they were, esp. the Jerry Garcia Band
