The comments are fun, except for a dreadfully incorrect post that states Frizzell went to prison for killing his wife. But the replies to that post (and many biographical sites) show it was a different country singer named Spade Cooley who was pardoned from prison for beating his wife to death - NOT Lefty Frizzell.
